Inaugural Post, Ahoy!

Here's where I'm going to blog about knitting.  Pretty much only knitting, I hope.  

My mojo well ran dry for nearly three years and I had despaired of ever feeling crafty or inspired (particularly about knitting) again.  But lo and behold, now that my toddler is 2 1/2, the need to create is upon me again.  Just in the past three or four months, I have finished a pair of mittens, a hat, and a baby blanket (and they are all BLOCKED, TOO!).  

So I'm pretty comfortable saying that my knittiness has returned.

If you're here because you like my font(s), Welcome!  If you found me through Ravelry, Hiya!  And to everyone else, I'm glad you're here, too.  I'm not going to promise anything like a regular update schedule at this point, but I've had the urge to blog about knitting-type things for a couple of months, and this will be where that happens (when it happens).

I may also recycle some older posts/projects, just to make this blog look pretty and populated.  

I don't (at this time) write patterns, more's the pity, but if that changes, this is probably where any of that sort of thing would end up as well.

On Ravelry I'm Kauricat, I named my knitting font Kauri Knits (oh so original!), and that's about the extent of my knitting web presence.  I hope no one finds this blog immediately, because I'm still going to be tweaking it for a while.  Whee!
